You asked for it and here it is: the secrets meme, back by popular demand. Share a secret, any kind of secret, whether it be silly or serious. Do it anonymously or not. IP logging is turned off and the only rule is that comments that explicitly name eljay members* are verboten.

Secrets are made to be found out with time.

Regardless of of whether a friend is "real life" or online, I don't tell things they've told me in secret. We all have friends who don't like each other. It happens. There's no reason to be offended when one friend doesn't like another.

((Anonymous)) wrote on May 2nd, 2006 at 02:58 am, you're not meant to be on the internets. Unplug your keyboard and go back to stitching your "values" on Holly Hobby samplers, please.

Everyone knows that the best kind of real-life friendships are the ones based on reinforcing mutual insecurities, inadequacies and prejudices because they get to be watered with sweet, sweet validation. You have to work really hard to keep those ones because they can go bad really quickly and your bff might sell you out!

Well, pardon me for not being a douche.

I'm laughing like someone just said "titmouse" over here.

Hehehe, titmouse.

It's ironic that you took this all so harshly, since what you said was fairly benign and not worth being embarrassed of. What set me off was that two of the most boring people on livejournal, on of whom didn't even have our little "e-villain" on their friends list, were the quickest to jump on the hateration bandwagon.

Don't be so sure the person who started this conversation (me) is the person you think it is. I could be anybody. I mean, since an entire community was sold out. Even the ones who didn't say anything. I think we still have a right to be pissed.

Some people ought to tread lightly when daring to call others boring.

Wasn't talking about you.

Really? 'Cause it kind of seemed like it, considering I was among the first to comment. And no one's embarrassed.

Nope, not you at all. You live in a different country from those I was talking about.

Oh. That clears things up, but kindly drop some clearer clues as to who it is you're talking about. I like that you seem to know so much about two of the 'most boring people on livejournal'. It's important to remember at this point that FTOTZ cats aren't obsessive freaks. Granted, who better qualified than someone from the FTOTZ to decide what is repetitive and/or boring? Anyhoo...

I'm not the one with whom you've been corresponding, but Rockgeisha kindly asked us not to name names.

If y'all don't like FTOTZ so much, why do y'all still go there?

So writing "entertaining" (by whose standards?) livejournal entries is some kind of prerequisite to hating someone on the internet? Please.

(I'm having trouble not replying more vitriolically.)
