I don't know if I've ever considered Canada's gender but the US is a man. Seriously. And the above is Homer Simpson's plea to QEII.

Hee. Yeah, the U.S. is definitely male. But I am quite certain that Canada is female.

(Robertson Davies referred to us as Mother England's "good daughter who stayed home," and I think that's just about perfect.)
