This is worse than an R.L. Stine book.

Things I have done this week:

1. Was accused of plagiarism by my English instructor.

On Monday, we turned in our classification essays. On Wednesday, we got them back. Mine had an A+ and a note reading that the information presented was beyond a lay person's knowledge of the subject and either I needed to declare myself an expert or provide sources. Or else, I "will can be accused of plagiarism."

Did I mention I wrote my paper on perfume? And that we handwrote these essays in class? And that I sit in the front row?

2. Found out Randy Newman was wrong but still didn't get satellite TV.

Last Friday, our installation was postponed because of lack of available techs. Today, we managed to get one out to our house. He took a look at where we want the receivers installed, then he walked the perimeter to check the sightlines. He came back in the house and said, "Ma'am, I'm real sorry--this is kind of embarrassing but--" he's too big to crawl underneath our house. Apparently, the duct work is done is such a way that blah blah blah he can't go. So now we're rescheduled for next Friday with "special request: small tech."

3. Made Tanis think she was going to be murdered.

Hahahaha.

4. Watched this video about Super Mario Bros and related too much.

That sucks about being accused of plagiarism! You should definitely go talk to your prof. That happened to me a couple times (and by that I mean 4! times) and it was always so frustrating because it's the equivalent of someone calling you an idiot -and- a cheat. But as soon as I talked to the professors and they realized I wasn't a moron (which is what they assume of everyone) then they dropped it.

There's also a website online (turnitin.com) that you can tell her to go to if she still doesn't believe you.

ps- the nintendo video was awesome. I'm pretty sure that that is the same inner voice I've been hearing (curse words and all) since I started playing video games when I was 4.

Crap, not only did I just post the same comment twice in your journal, I also wasn't signed in so now I can't delete one. Sometimes I really think I should just dye my hair blond.

Yeah, he finally ended up asking me how I knew so much about perfume and I was like, "I...make...it." Plus, it's not specialized knowledge that I was dropping here. Oh, well.
