Oh, definitely--the commodifiers (I know words!) become the commodities. Like the part with Josh saying in Amsterdam that he doesn't see the appeal of going into a room and doing whatever you want to someone. Also, I think the American businessman is kinda like foreshadowing of what Paxton could have become. I'm very interested to see what Paxton's like in the sequel.
And I love me some Miike. Quentin, too--I'm glad I finally spotted his cameo, as well as Roth's.
IMDB says that it's him in the scene at the pub where Natalya and Svetlana look so jacked up but I can't find corroboration anywhere else (and of course, IMDB is not always known for accuracy). It does look like him, though.
Ohmygosh. My Hostel DVD came this morning and I've just watched all the documentary segments, and I am so desperately in love with Eli Roth, Derek Richardson and Milda Havlas. Just. Love. So much.
Oh, I need to watch that again. I think I'm going to go get some breakfast, watch that, and then watch the Eli commentary again. And finish my "Horror Movies I Have Not Liked" list.

Also -- my future husband is so fucking hot. The shower scene makes me giggle like a small child.
