This California trip is shaping up to be totes awesome. Reasons why:

1) Cassandra.
2) BPAL Will Call will likely be held while I'm there. (That's when they open up the Lab for in-person sales, thus one can test everything--general collection-wise, at least--and get it right then.
3) HOLY SHIT, GEORGE ROMERO IS GOING TO BE AT COMIC-CON. Eeeeee!

Oh yeah, I broke up with my boyfriend. Sometimes I'm sad but mostly I'm okay. For the best, I think.

Plus, I have bad horror movies and California and George F'n Romero. !!!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about the boyfriend.

I'm totally jealous about Comicon and wish I was going. Mostly because I now get what you are supposed to do at those things and the first time out was just a scouting mission.

hey...have you heard anything from Sammy? I've emailed her a few times and heard nothing. I'm worried.

Aw, it's okay.

I've never been to any kind of con, much less one the size of Comicon and I'm a little nervous about it.

And I have not heard anything from Sammy. I should call her.

One thing I found out about Comicons is that people bring little blank notebooks and have all the artists draw them a picture. I wish I had known beforehand because that's pretty awesome.

I don't know a lot of the artists but that's cool, because they draw from so many fields--besides George Romero, for example, Ray Bradbury is going to be there. I am trying to think of something to say to him that doesn't consist of "OMG I LOVE 'THERE WILL COME SOFT RAINS' AND 'FAHRENHEIT 451' OF COURSE AND AND AND..."
